Background
Rajiv specializes in groundwater remediation and contaminant
fate and transport modeling. His past research involved
investigation of pharmaceutical contaminants in the subsurface and
modeling their fate and transport. During his brief stint at Surbec,
he developed a DNAPL remediation guidance document for the
Department of Defense. His achievements include a journal article in
Environmental Science and Technology (a premier environmental
engineering journal), which talks about effects of amphiphilic
substances on adsorption and fate of pharmaceutical contaminants in
natural aquifer material.
